PROJECT 8 : PERFORMANCE & AWARDS NIGHT

Finally, here comes the very last project of RUS104, which symbolizes the end of my 1st semester in HBP, USM. For Project 8, we are required to perform (either dancing, singing, etc) based on the theme given, that is 'The 7 Kingdoms'. We, the quantity survey students, were given the kingdom Majapahit, in which I had learnt about it before during secondary school.
For our performance, we had decided to dance based on the song : Asmaradana. All the QS members met and we discussed about our roles in dancing. Thanks to our groupmate, Nala, she managed to find us a dance tutor who is also studying in USM as a first year student. During the four days of preparation, we had stayed up late almost every nights to practice dancing. We had also formed a big 'QS Group' to go to a shopping mall at Bukit Jambul to buy our costumes.
On the performance night, all of us were very tensed and nervous. However, all of us were able to perform perfectly and we had successfully attracted all the audiences. Finally, it was around 12 o'clock in the midnight and the event ends. It was time to say goodbye to RUS104. I was amazed at the moment that time flies and I managed to survive RUS104 , courageously. Well, I have some words for u, RUS104 : I WILL REMEMBER YOU, BUT I WON'T MISS YOU.  Thanks.
 Cool & Steady

PROJECT 7: EXHIBITION

For Project 7, all the 1st year students were divided into groups based on their respective major. Hence, I am automatically in the Quantity Surveying group.
For this exhibition, we were required to set up a booth and decorate it with our products from Project 1 till Project 6. Hence, all the QS members gathered and discussed about our respective jobs. With the co-operation of all of the members, we had successfully decorated our booth and I personally feel very satisfied with it.

The very cool banner that we had made in a banner shop in Georgetown.

Our booth. Simple and nice.

I feel satisfied and happy with this project as it greatly helps to improve the relationship between the students from their respective courses. For me, I got to know more about my course mates from different races and I manage to interact with them well. It is nice to know more people.
