PROJECT 4 : PRESENTATION DRAWINGS

§  Based on Project 3B (Objects Connection), students are required to produce a plan and elevations (front, right, left and rear) drawings of their wooden comfortable chair.
§  The drawings should be coloured based on the actual condition of their respective comfortable chair (not based on the colour of their structural model).
§  Drawings should be in A3 size and 1:20 scale.
§  Based on their comfortable chair design, each student is also required to produce at least one coloured:
i)                     axonometric drawing (1:20 scale), and
ii)          perspective drawing (with human figure shown)

This is one of the many projects in which I found it interesting. From this project, I had learnt more about plan and elevations. I had learnt how to draw it in a proper way. Besides, I had also learnt about the difference between 1-point perspective, 2-point perspective, 3-point perspective and axonometric drawing, and the technic of drawing all of it. It is going to be very useful for me in the building industry later on.

My first time learning perspective drawing in the studio class.

We are required to draw plans and elevation, axonometric and perspective drawings based on our project 3b wooden chairs (picture above).
